Nail-biting finish

Excitement until the very end in Provence: Bruno Riberi and Florian Haut-Labourdette (MC/MC) have won the Rally National du Pays de Fayence (F). In the asphalt rally over 95.68 classified kilometres, the duo had to fight hard for victory until the very end in the Volkswagen Polo GTI R5.

At the finish, Riberi and Haut-Labourdette were just 4.9 seconds ahead of Jean-Baptiste Franceschi and Anthony Gorguilo (F/F, Škoda). In the end, the Volkswagen duo’s greater consistency paid off: although Riberi only drove the best time on two of the nine special stages, he was always among the top three.
